93 points -- A remarkably pure and refined nose that is at once floral, ripe and still reflects quite primary red and dark berry fruit aromas that introduce earthy and sweet full-bodied and obviously concentrated flavors blessed with... superb length... a truly excellent example for the vintage and is one of the few '97s that will see its 25th birthday in fine condition as the balance here is impeccable.
