87 points -- The 1993 Meursault Villages now seems rather flat and enervated on the nose. It does not really go anywhere or say much - a mute Meursault perhaps. The palate is much better: quite harmonious with good depth, hints of spice and honeycomb, later dried orange peel and mandarin, although you come away with a sense of inertia with respect to this wine
